In a two car garage, somewhere in the U.S., on or along the border of Pennsylvania, in a place called Littlestown, three peoples started talking of a new band, one that would stand above the rest, a band that could play music and have fun doing it, without the typical drama associated with most new bands.
Frank started as a drummer in Baltimore and followed the music to Texas to jam with some of the local greats playing blues before he moved to PA. He later switched to bass after the bass player for the band he was technician for quit, which has turned out to be his true calling as a musician. After losing the original lead singer for the band, Frank decided to try his own voice out leading the band in a different direction. Now singing and playing bass for DIG13, the band is progressing again, playing more than ever before and building a stronger fanbase.
Ray's been a drummer from birth. Story goes he's been beating on things with sticks since he could walk. Ray is one of the few drummers who actually puts on a show behind his kit! He is also responsible for some of the, shall we say, more offbeat backup vocals you hear in DIG13's music. Ray's drumming is unique and adds to the DIG13 sound as does his recent singing for the band. Having played with the bassist in other bands, Ray and Frank have learned to read each others next move...sometimes to well.
Jeremy has been playing guitar around the area and was welcomed to DIG13 in March of 2011 as the solo guitarist after several band member changes went south. His dedication and work has been unmatched by any who previously held the spot, learning songs in record time and fitting in with the groups overall mentality. With no intentions of leaving or fear of the workload, he has become a strong stable player for the band, securing the groups future as a solid three piece.
DIG13 plays the music we all know as well as their own highly infectious originals. When you combine the unqiue styles of Frank's driving and highly melodic bass lines over Jeremy's outstanding guitar riffs and add Ray's thumping percussion beats, you have a band that will groove you one minute, then bring the roof down on your head the next.
